The template comming with built-in parallax script for background images. You can use parallax for backgrounds of whole sections which handling the modules positions. These backgrounds and parallax options can be managed in the template settings area. Also, the template comming with the custom module style which allows to use a parallax for module background.

An example of section parallax background can be seen above and here is an example of module with parallax background:
